    …Car owners bear the brunt

The Fuel Scarcity being experienced currently in Nigeria has given the petrol attendants opportunity to make brisk money as they pay attention to those buying with Gallons who pay N100.00 before buying the specific amount they need.

Lots of car owners were not attended to as the attendants do not make money when they sell to car owners.

Energy Frontier monitored the development yesterday February 13, 2022 along Idimu Axes in Lagos.

At the NNPC Retail Station, Opposite CHRSLAND College Idimu, Lagos, they sell maximum of N3,000.00 worth of Fuel to each buyer. However, lots those buying in Gallons were being attended to while the Car Owners were just on the Queue. Energy Frontier joined the queue and when it was just a car before Energy Frontier could get the product, they stopped. The Station started selling Fuel by 4.pm yesterday. They stopped selling 4.57pm, saying that they have run out the product. From the time they started selling to the time they stopped, less than 15 car owners were able to get the product. Energy Frontier joined   But some people said there fuel in other pumps apart from the two pumps they claimed that they have exhausted the fuel there.

But lots of those buying in Gallons got the product because they part with N100.00 before buying. Energy Frontier called the attention of the Manager when this was happening but he couldn’t do much to see that Vehicle Owners were attended to do.

    The Manager

The Manger, a young average height man, dark in complexion, called his team and they went into the office and locked it. Energy Frontier wondered why they would go into the office and lock it. This shows irregularity in their operation.
